“Protoform” is the artist name of Los Angeles, California native, Matthew Rogers. In 2017, he discovered Psytrance music and was astonished by it’s crisp production, creative sound design, and epic arrangement style. From then on he quickly developed a passion for the genre and what it represents, experiencing first hand it’s power as a catalyst in achieving higher states of consciousness. This motivated him to begin crafting his own productions, blending psychedelic sounds, tribal elements, and inspirational melodies, creating a unique sonic signature designed to take the listener on a high-powered spiritual journey.
