Raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Yung Wes is a versatile artist whose style can flow seamlessly from a hard-hitting rap verse over an EDM beat to a crooning, moody melody over smooth R&B production. Much of his lyrics focus on the everyday struggle to find a balance between love, lust, family, and chasing success. These universal topics allow his words to be felt by a wide variety of listeners. 
 His latest EP ‘Insomnia’ was released on 10.19.19 and will be followed soon by a mixtape entitled ‘Mixed Emotions’. 
 He's had shows in California at The Viper Room and different bars in Hollywood. He's also performed at many different venues in Minnesota such as Amsterdam Bar and Hall, Fine Line, Rouge at the Lounge, Honey, and at several Twin Cities fashion shows.
