Blackbird H.Q is a three-piece multi-genre music supergroup formed by Blackbird Entertainment, an independent record label in Lagos, Nigeria. The group which consists of Esbee the Songwriter, Femi Broadway and Rhae98, was founded in 2021 as one of the label’s strategy to merge their unique songwriting/performing styles and cross pollinate the fans of all the three members and other featured artistes. The group who at one point we’re all students of Saint Finbarrs’ College Akoka are inspired by groups like NSG, Mavin-All Stars but have their own unique brand of entertainment that fuses African percussions, pop synths, witty lyrics, cohesive songwriting and unrivaled energy that will make you want to experience every emotion portrayed in their songs.
