Cedric Clinton is an O'ahu born MC/Hip Hop artist, accomplished surfer, screen printer, & visionary entrepreneur. He is the founder of lifestyle brand/record label Chi Funk & the owner of Squeeze Play which is a Hawai'i based screen printing company. At 10 years old, he performed for his 1st time auditioning for his elementary school talent show. A spark was lit & from that moment on, Hip Hop become a big part of his life. Over the next few years, he started Freestyling + crafting his own songs. Cedric's music is a rich tapestry of heart-felt expression, clever wordplay, & radiant gems that ignite the inner fire & stir the depths of your soul. When he graces the stage, his live performances are nothing short of electrifying, leaving audiences buzzing with his infectious positivity, & insightful lyrics. In 2017, he released his debut album ArtChiTexture which was nominated for a Na Hoku Hanohano award in the Hip Hop Album Of The Year category. Later that year he was also invited to be a core facilitator for Soundshop which is a Hip Hop based educational workshop for middle & high school students hosted in the Honolulu Museum of Art.
