Hailing from Paris, Texas, W3sst is an up and coming Soul/R&B artist with a penchant for writing infectious tunes and relatable narratives. Inspired by true artists such as D'Angelo, Bobby Womack, BJ the Chicago Kid and Common, W3sst’s music journey began where many great soul artists starte; performing in the church. Under his father's guidance, W3sst honed his singing skills in the choir. Having worked in the backend of the music industry for many years, W3sst only decided to start recording his own music recently after being nudged by industry counterparts and friends alike to do so. Being an avid storyteller, W3sst is greatly influenced by real life experiences, drawing inspiration for his music from love, and hardships, allowing him to invoke strong emotions in listeners. Apart from invoking emotions, W3sst also has a unique ability to present music in multiple styles, from soul to hip-hop, all while maintaining a consistent message and sound. Hoping to bring the missing soul, authenticity, and artistry back to music, W3sst is looking to use his music as a medium to bring love back into the R&B mainstream.
