In 2016 Pat Kanji sat down at his loop pedal in front of him, and created his first beat - opening him up to what could be possible. As he continued to explore where his music could take him, Pat found inspiration in the growing Arizona music scene around him and harnessed that creative energy as he developed his introduction to the world. Releasing his first mixtape, Lust or Love, on his birthday in 2017 - his soulful/funk derived sound began to really take form with Pat letting his emotions drip from his guitar and voice on every track. 
 By never fearing emotional expression, the innocence of music that first attracted him only strengthened with each release to become a staple of his off-kilter style. As Pat has continued on his journey he’s found a sense of himself strongly as a producer/instrumentalist, playing shows and helping to develop other artists in their pursuits as well. This balance is what has taken Pat to the next level in his career as he prepares to release his official debut, 42:LOVE. 
 Focused on creating a legacy to rival those of the artists that created worlds he’s lived in at various points in his life, Pat’s dedication to music knows no bounds.
