Hayden Powell is a trumpet player based in Oslo, Norway. Originally English, Powell moved to Norway as a child and grew up in the jazz festival town of Molde. He works in a variety of styles with an emphasis on jazz and improvised music. Besides his own band, Hayden frequently performs with artists such as Eyolf Dale Wolf Valley, Natacha Atlas, Bridges with Seamus Blake, Iro Haarla and the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra.
