LANI KAÈ (born Kayla-Nohelani Damo), is an R&B soul singer, songwriter & producer with a unique music style from Honolulu, HI. She infuses island reggae, R&B and pop into her music which is how she creates her own sound. Lani Kaè’s music style is influenced by R&B & island reggae artists such as Kiana Lede, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Maoli, Kolohe Kai & Sammy Johnson. Not only is she a singer songwriter, she is also a dance instructor and choreographer. She’s been dancing for 20 years and has grown her community within Honolulu, HI, & Eugene, OR and Portland, OR. “ I want to be able to leave a legacy for the next generation.” In her own words she writes; I want people to feel every type of emotion when they listen to my music. I want them to have that ability to relate to my music on a genuine level. When it comes to writing a song, it’s not just words. It comes from a deeper root of history and experience.
