Jesse Del Queens began his musical journey on the piano at age 5, picking up drums and bass guitar later. Most of his early years were spent in church in Mississippi, now residing in Dallas, TX. He expressed his love and appreciation for rap but was somewhat forced up to the mic. He explained not having much luck getting his beats placed with local artists, so he decided to become one. With gospel, classical and jazz being his background, his music has an interesting sound, very soulful and melodic over a deep hard southern bounce. Not too involved in rap in the beginning, but in 2007 a friend stopped by his place one late afternoon and popped a cd in the player, it was NAS latest release "Hiphop is Dead. After listening, he became inspired to create beats for rappers. One rapper in particular that he really admired was "Capitol Q" from Future Shock Records. He purchased a Roland Fantom, his first keyboard workstation, and his brother-in-law Earl Ross Jr gave him a copy of Magix Studio 4, a digital workstation (DAW) for his computer. After relocating to Dallas in 2012, he dove right into the local music scene, connecting with local artists and making his presence known. Working alongside Kelly Ross, his wife and an R&B artist, they both write, produce and record their music in their home studio, and have opened up their home for other local artists to create as well.
