17 May, 2024: Prince Protégé, Taja Sevelle released a new music video, Silver Lining. Produced by award-winning songwriter & producer, D-Moet, the dance song celebrates the art of finding the silver lining in all situations. Taja Sevelle was accepted into the Berklee College of Music in the same week that she was offered a record deal from the legendary, Prince. The first song she wrote, Love is Contagious became a Top 10 Hit. Taja has singing & songwriting credits on over 12.5 million CDs & Singles sold and streamed. Taja has written songs with Prince, Nile Rodgers, Burt Bacharach, Thom Bell, D-Moet, Narada Michael Walden, Dennis Matkosky, and numerous other notable writers. Her first two CDs on Paisley Park/Warner Bros were produced by Chico Bennett. Taja Sevelle has been featured on Ellen, Good Morning America, Billboard, People, Vanity Fair, Essence, Ebony, & over 50,000 other media outlets. A noted humanitarian, Taja Sevelle founded Urban Farming, a 501c3 with the mission to “Create an Abundance of Food for All in Our Generation.”  The organization began by planting 3 community gardens of free food in Detroit.
