honeyfreckle writes music that makes you want to put glitter on your cheeks and dance like nobody’s watching. Heartfelt lyrics and electronic elements are melted together to create a personal expression. The project honeyfreckle has grown from the collaboration with the artist’s brother Hampus. His talent for production and mixing gives the music a special, colorful touch. The siblings have a vision of creating pop music that is difficult to resist. They get their inspiration from artists and bands such as NIMMO, Dua Lipa, Carly Rae Jepsen, CHVRCHES, Robyn and M83. The debut single “love me not” was released on the 15th of November 2019, and has been featured on both Swedish and international music blogs such as Comeherefloyd, Lefuturewave, Popmuzik and HYMN. The track has also been put on heavy rotation on several Swedish radio stations. After the first release, honeyfreckle went on to feature on the talented Billboard charting artist AJ Salvatore’s single “Malibu”, which has caught the attention of music lovers all over the world. Her second single “pit stop” was released on the 17th of April 2020, and has a disco vibe that makes you want to dance. The song has already been featured on a range of music blogs around the world such as N-Eight and Bands of Tomorrow.
