Twenty-eight-year-old Rashid Hamilton better known as “Your Excellence” was born in Lynwood California and was raised in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Growing up Rashid had always been involved in music. He was signed to his uncle’s record label “Volcano Entertainment” before the age of twenty. His stage name changed throughout the years until a fellow label mate complimented him on his style and advised him that he was a King in music. He gained his name after he was told he was too excellent and should go by “Your Excellence” and the rest was history. Most of Rashid’s inspiration has come from his children and the loyal fan base that genuinely believe in him. He plans on dropping “Purple Heart 2” as his next project, in the meantime he hopes to see his debut album acquire the ears of many and we all get to see “Your Excellence” as the creative artist that he is.
