 Garvey Rebel Rich previously known as Richie Kupone is a reggae hip-hop artist and a songwriter for many other genres. Based in California, he was born in Jamaica where he spent his childhood years soaking up the energy from the “Dances” all over the island and was a big fan of the creative artists that could make songs on the spot while they were engaged in a clash or battle. Going back and forth to the US Garvey fell in love with the rhyme schemes and patterns of Hip-hop and instantly became a fan. Before long rich was making melodies and witty lines of other song he liked, and combined them to create his own vibe. Rich musical journey has taken him from major to independent record companies.
