Watunga Delicious known by his rap name ‘Delboy’. The unorthodox artist, rapper and songwriter was born in a family of six to parents Didus and Barbara Watunga in Kabale, Uganda, Africa. His love for music started way back in 2007 at the age of 13 largely influenced by American Rapper Lil Wayne. Delboy started his musical self-discovery journey and recording music back in 2010 but it wasn’t till 2015 that he felt he was ready and started working on serious music with Baru as his main producer and collaborator. Del’s First major debut was on ‘Ask the doorman’ a song that featured on ‘Young King’ an Ep by Baru. ‘Moses’ recorded in 2015 was Delboy’s first roll out track. He then joined forces with Baru to create “THE NEW WAVE” a project that was released in chapters 1,2 & 3. Featuring some of the big artists in Uganda like Mun*G , Pryce Teeba among others. The projects were received very well by the fans because of his unique style and “lazy” but melodic delivery that he was nominated for the “UG hip hop Rookie of the year” in the year 2017/2018.
