Mark Doyle has had an interesting and varied career in the music business. His first band, Jukin' Bone, was signed to RCA when Mark was still in his late 'teens. They went on to make two obscure albums hailed by Creem Magazine as seminal classics of early '70's hard rock.
After the breakup of that band in 1973, Mark went on to record albums with Andy Pratt ("Resolution" and "Shiver In The Night") Cindy Bullens ("Desire Wire"and "Steal The Night"), and David Werner ("Whizz Kid," "Imagination Quota," and "David Werner"). He is also featured as a guitarist on recordings by Daryl Hall & John Oates, Judy Collins, Leo Sayer, and many others.
The '80's saw Mark recording and touring as lead guitarist for Meat Loaf; and arranging and singing the background vocals on "Straight From The Heart" by Bryan Adams.
He’s recorded four critically acclaimed solo albums of guitar instrumentals - the moody "Guitar Noir,” the neo-psychedelic "Out of the Past,” “In Dreams,” and “One November Night.”
His blues rock band, Mark Doyle and The Maniacs, have released 6 albums - “Shake ‘Em On Down,” “Comin’ Home,” “Pushin’,” “Live and Burnin’,” “Raw” and “2Raw.”
He co-produced and played all instruments on Mary Fahl’s “From The Dark Side of the Moon.”
He recorded and produced a brand new Jukin’ Bone album, “Unfinished Business” in 2018.
