Roben Neal (Brighton, UK) known under artist guise NYLP (New York Loft Party) came from traditional roots in 1999 learning to mix by ear with vinyl before moving on to CDJs and Rekordbox. Placed 1st in the South Coast of the UK and top three in the UK at a Movida Corona World DJ competition, NYLP using the turntable and mixer as an instrument, fully utilising effects, scratching, acapella and DJ tricks, blending music in key and favouring the use of 4 Pioneer CDJ decks.As a producer, NYLP writes, remixes, engineers and mixes all his own music using Ableton Live Suite 10 and is passionate about making sure all his releases are his own work.
