Kellette hails from New Orleans - one of the world's most renowned and diverse music meccas - where her love for classic R & B and old-school soul music was prevalent in her home and community. Combining inspirations from her Deep South upbringing and classical training, Kellette's sound has been dubbed The Nu Neo-Soul. 
 Crediting her grandfather with her immense love for music, this independent artist introduces the style and succinct silkiness of classic R & B ballads to the edginess of today's mellow vibes. Kellette's first project, #NoDuds, is a testimony to self-discovery. Her development and maturation gives life to 'Effortless' - where rhythms and lyrics combine to create emotions that draw her listeners a unique space of smooth sensuality.
