Austin Strange was born in Orangeville, Ontario, Strange has been in the world of music since childhood – taking various lessons, participating in local theatre productions, and singing for anyone who would listen. He began writing pop-centric music after meeting his now-friend Andrew McArthur. While studying film scoring in college, and developing his technical skills, he quickly realized he belonged in the world of pop music. Strange creates a unique brand of music which he has coined “Alternative Pop” finding his influences from various genres and artists like Bon Iver, Queen, Sam Smith, The Weeknd and Kesha. Austin creates his music around his own journey with mental health and his struggle with anxiety and depression, leading to a party-centric sound with deeper meaning in words. Strange released his debut album in October 2019 and now has four music videos on Youtube with his latest being his new single Focus.. A veteran in the Ontario concert circuit, Austin has been releasing music every month in preparation for touring to return with his goal to break out into more of Canada and the United States, having high hopes for 2022.
