Ever wonder what happens when a poet decides to start making RnB music during a Pandemic? Well apparently, he becomes Jeauxell. Originally from the concrete jungle, Queens, NY, Jeauxell has spent every year he can remember being an artist. An ebony pencil was his first love, but then poetry came along and became his favorite pastime in 2017 while finishing up his English Degree at UNC Charlotte. Every time Jeauxell dropped a poem the response from the people was amazing, but he always wanted to include more people. "My guy friends don't read, and honestly, as crazy as it sounds, I don't either." That was when he started writing music. Under the stage name Jodi Loverboy, he wrote songs for female RnB artists that he knew in Charlotte. The love and support was beautiful, but having to deal with people that didn’t take things serious got old quick. For the next 3 years he went back in seclusion writing poetry and was in the midst of releasing a novel, when music called to him one last time. In 2020, Jeauxell recorded his first mixtape in the living room of his friend’s house and showcased his poetically inspired pen by releasing,“Hope It’s Night Out” on his birthday, December 29th. Since then we've heard Jeauxell not only find the most descriptive ways to talk about loving multiple women and his entertaining sex life, but also find his voice and exude an aura that is unparalleled and true to him and his own life experiences.
