Born in Bartow, Fl, Darius "Zu Haven" Harrison has always had a creative mindset since a young child. Family was a huge musical influenced, from classical music from his aunt, blues and jazz from his grandparents, neo-soul and hip hop from his parents, only enhancing his eclectic style for music. 2012 "HAVEN" was his first project which was made strictly out of love for music, After a little break, in 2018, "Late Night Citrus" was made and really expressed his creativity and passion for music. Mishima's Resurrection which is a homage to his first EP, shows that he still has his lyrics on point and with tracks like "Testarossa" and "Seasonal" really proves theres is no restriction to Zu's universal style when it comes to making music. "The tape was what was going on in my life during my little break from music, I was producing a lot at the time and figured why not blend the two together. I wanted to make something everyone can relate to plus bringing something new I've always wanted to work on. I really enjoyed making this project and working the collective of artists that helped express my potential" he states. The following year he comes out with "Anecdote" a three track EP of tracks you could say was a sequel to "HAVEN". " I can't escape it!! it literally has my soul, why resist it when it feels so good?!" He adds. From the looks of it, Zu has no intention of letting go of his first love.
