Isaac “IsaiahJames” Scott is a Hip Hop artist in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born in 2000, mere days after the passing of the late Big Pun, his mix of old and new school styles provides the real and personal listening experience similar to that of Hip Hop in the 90’s, while simultaneously addressing the topics of today. The emotional undertones of each song and the messages that resonate with them ring loud, giving listeners more than just a song to dance to, but a life to understand. Some might say that his music sounds outdated, and how he would’ve been more likely to blow up 15-20 years ago, but IsaiahJames doesn’t let these remarks halt his crusade to restore the art behind Hip-Hop. In his mind, the music of today doesn’t hail to what was created before his time and seeks to bring back passion and storytelling to Rap and Hip Hop. His debut album, Traumatic, details years of suppressed emotions from events that altered the course of his life. His new culmination of tunes, dubbed “The Rebirth Project” will allow fans to hear about how he managed to move past the pain and find his desire to make music.
