Darius Lux is an international singer-songwriter and award winning artist who specializes in soulful, uplifting pop/rock. Originally hailing from London, Darius went to school in NYC before working for Sony/Warner Chappell writing with artists such as Daryl Hall, Willa Ford and Jennifer Lopez. From Manhattan, Darius left to travel the world for a year embarking on a life-changing pilgrimage. A multi-instrumentalist and producer came back from 15 countries as a free thinker and inspirational lyricist. This expansive journey led Darius to move to Hawai’i where he recorded his debut album “Arise”. After a year in Hawai’i, Darius moved to Los Angeles and put together a band for 2010’s EP, "Time is Now” which spawned the award-winning video for “Way That It Goes”. He then released his 3rd album in 2013, "We The Living”, which involved fan-collaborated lyrics (“Waking Up”) and videos (“The Happy Song”). In June 2014, Darius began a 2 year-long tour supporting “Acoustic Spirit + Soul”, covering 30,000 miles between California, Arizona, Portland and Seattle. Darius’ music has been widely placed in film (The Butterfly Effect 3, Puncture Wounds, Status Update, Black Diamond) and TV (NBC, MTV, VH1, History, Discovery, Style Network, Animal Planet, Oxygen). Combining a love for 60's songwriting, 70's soul + 90's rock, Darius is currently promoting his latest albums, “Dreaming The Life” and the accompanying "Dreaming The Acoustic".
