I am a seasoned gospel singer/songwriter with roots in Goose Creek South Carolina. I am married and have 2 grown Adult children who has played a great part in my music ministry. Even my 3 grandchildren are musically inclined. My passion for singing began at a young age leading me to record two albums in 1999 and 2000. Over the years, I have been serving as Praise and Worship leader at my church. In 2022, I recorded my third album titled "Finally," with my son Rodrick Simmons serving as my producer. In 2024, I released my highly anticipated new single, "Coming Down." In collaboration with my cousin Austin McDonald as producer, this song has a vibrant up-tempo churchy sound that provides you with a fresh and unique sound in todays gospel music that blesses you. They push me everyday to be great at my gift in songwriting. As a songwriter I am inspired to write as the songs come to me.
