Born and raised in the notorious estates of South London’s Brixton, Milly95 has always had an affinity for music. His early days of rapping started in front of a camera with freestyles, demonstrating that from the tender age of 14 his ability to put words together and paint pictures were second to none. Previously rapping under the monicker C-Mills, he would sporadically exhibit his skills by posting freestyles on social media. He then featured on 1 Life (feat. C Mills) a classic by Ard Adz, with who he’s had a friendship that was established long before music. After seeing the reception for his song with Ard Adz he then became one of his main collaborators, featuring on all his projects from that point on. Since taking music more seriously and a name change, Milly has released 3 EPs: The Black Label (a name inspired by his favourite whisky brand Johnnie Walker), November 21st marking his 24th birthday and The Double Black Label, the second instalment to the Johnnie Walker series. With musical influences like Joe Budden, Prodigy and Nas - his introspective style, poetic lyrics and hard-hitting truths leave his core fans constantly yearning for more.
