Manté is an independent American hip hop artist. He was born in Fayetteville, NC, and moved to Charlotte, NC at a young age. Manté grew up listening to a mixture of old school R&B, Blues and gospel. His inspiration includes the likes of Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne, Outkast, Nas, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar among others. His delivery reflects his childhood nickname ‘smoove’, while his flow embodies the characteristics of a true Gemini, ever changing and unpredictable.
