Family of musical origin, influenced from a very early age by popular songs, Brazilian music in general, rock, folk music, jazz and blues. Luiz Gonzaga do Nascimento was his first idol and musical reference, after his father, Jr. Magalhães, guitarist and singer, who taught him his first songs. Since the beginning of his communication, Felipe has demonstrated the strong presence of creation, composing small musical excerpts to themes related to his interaction. He started playing the guitar at the age of 7, beginning his paths as an instrumentalist, already composing and exploring the instrumental and vocal universe of João Bosco under the influence of his father. Later, at the age of 13, he started playing guitar with his first band formed by childhood friends. The influence of rock started to be more prominent as a musician, and Pink Floyd could be strongly highlighted at that time. At the age of 15, he composed "Walking Shoes", a song that integrates his first Album "Sons da Resiliência", released on January 25, 2018, which compiles songs from his adolescence, also recorded with the members of his first band. At the age of 19, he joined the Popular Music course (Composition and Arrangement) at UFBA, adhering to a lot of classical music influence, which resulted in his conclusion work focused on the theme. Felipe highlights Paul Simon as the greatest idol in music and has already mentioned some artists who influenced him such as: Milton Nascimento, Bach and Radiohead.
