EMEXL is a DJ and producer originally hailing from Teesside but now based in Newcastle. Inspired by his passion EMEXL studied music at University going on to become a music teacher and has worked in Newcastle schools for over 15 years. The skills and experience he learnt, led his DJing to naturally progress in to music production. Having already secured remixes and new production some of the most infamous North East rave scene record labels under alias’s he now ventures in to the production of house and techno sounds. Influenced by the likes of Patrick Topping’s uptempo productions and KINK’s exploitation of analog hardware, EMEXL now considers himself a producer first and DJ second.
