Miami based artist Bacheler Jean Pierre, known for his love of the statement “NOTHING VENTURED NOTHING GAINED," diversifies self-expression through mediums of music, fine art, architecture, and fashion. His work invites you into a closer look of a personal journey navigating and embracing the essence of a creative director. His creations reveal an intimate rendition of one’s highest self originating through the initiation of strife and strength. As a survivor of Haiti’s 2010 earthquake, Bacheler’s will to live cultivates a continuing freedom to establish uniqueness conveyed in visionary works such as “Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained”, “B.I.D” known as LifeofBid, and “Waiting List Clothing Company”. Wearing imposter syndrome as a nod to the innovative process of discovering the innermost self, Bacheler’s authenticity integrates creativity as a solicitation of community in offering a conscious release of antiquated human complexes. In western ideology, community purportedly intimidates individuality. Bacheler’s work contrasts individuality as a passage to community encompassing a network of resourceful connections and creation. After all, “Individuality, not individualism, is the cornerstone of community,” - Malidoma Somé. Bacheler’s belief in the power of words speaks to vibrations of expansion and growth. His loyalty to being a student of creation demonstrates the voyages in humility of the shadow self thus validating ART as “a reason to triumph” where consciousness evolves.
