Medjay é uma banda de Power Metal com influências da musicalidade Árabe, inspirada por sua rica mitologia e cultura. O nome Medjay foi tirado da História do Egito Antigo. Eles foram um povo guerreiro que habitava a região do Sudão do Sul e que ao longo do tempo se tornou a guarda real dos faraós. Medjay numa tradução literal significa Guerreiro do Senhor (Faraó). Medjay para nós é também entendido como um espírito de coragem e luta que está presente em toda a História humana, por isso em cada lugar que há um povo guerreiro, ali os Medjay se fazem presentes. ............... They were warriors that inhabited the regions of northern Sudan and Southern Egypt, and ended up becoming an elite paramilitary force and the Pharaoh’s royal guard. The name Medjay may also be comprehended as a spirit of bravery and fight that is present in whole human story, for wherever you find warrior people, the Medjay spirit lies present.
