Isaiah LeVon Earls is an American rapper, singer and songwriter born in San Francisco, CA. As a young boy, Zay’s family moved to a small Bay Area city called Vallejo, the hometown of artists E-40, Mac Dre and many other’s whom Zay grew up listening to. There is where Zay sparked an interest for rapping. A lover a music, particularly Hip Hop and R&B, Zay would listen to the radio or watch music channels and imitate his favorite artists. Often learning their songs word for word. 
 Zay grew up in a christian home where he was exposed to the genre of gospel music. “Those faith-based principles, themes, and overall sounds helped shape me as a young man and a music listener” says Zay. Little did he know, that very musical taste and history would help lead him in his journey to becoming an artist himself.
