Countless concerts, TV shows, 25 CDs, 2 DVDs, numerous film and TV soundtracks, international Jazz festivals in S. America and shows in Brazil's largest theaters earned her the official title of “Ambassador of Italian Music” from Sao Paulo's Italian Consulate and Italian Embassy in Brazil.
In Italy, she was voted into the top 10 vocalists in JAZZIT magazine two years in a row and earned a chapter in Gerlando Gatto's book “L’Altra Metà del Jazz” dedicated to international women in jazz.
In NY, after 3 CDs with guitarist Paul Ricci and tours throughout Brazil and Europe, she played the legendary Birdland, Mezzrow's, The Django, Jazz Forum, Zinc, Columbia University’s WKCR radio, the Metropolitan Museum and NY University. In her last CD and tour "NATURAL IMPRESSION", Mafalda brings her NY band of top jazz players back into most relevant jazz festivals and clubs to deliver her unique take on the Brazilian songbook recorded both on CD and video as she continues on with her artistic journey.
