C-Red is a rapper and songwriter who grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She started rapping in middle school, most heavily influenced by Nas’ Illmatic, and has continued to work on her craft throughout her academic and professional life. Her path as an artist and creative has been different than most of her counterparts, as she has always pursued education and music with the same dedication and passion. She is currently a second-year urologic surgery resident. She started #WhiteCoatWednesdays while she was in medical school, posting verses on her Instagram profile every week, to give a glimpse into her commitment to her grind as an artist and as a creative.
