Rhesus Positive (AKA Johny Rhys) is a UK-based producer and musician that spans a range of genres - from singer/songwriter acoustic music, to the more recent full-bodied bangers that reduce people to a heap of “mmmm”. A guitarist, singer and producer of his own unique and recognisable brand of sonic art, he blends guitars, vocals, bass and keys with samples and smatterings of didjeridoo to boot. From pop/alt funky rock tunes and underground bass-heavy numbers, to downtempo and drum ‘n’ bass… his live-looping provides a joyous range of sounds, while he adds the fine vocalism of other awesome collaborating artists. His songs often promote conscious evolution, with lyrics that touch upon finding flow in heart-centred and meaningful work (‘Our Flowing Soul’); discovering our ‘Magic Frequency’ - a raison d’être - or shining a light of gratitude on our ‘Bright Earth’.
