Calix is a rapper based from Manila, Philippines. He started posting songs on Soundcloud anonymously around late 2015. Finished his first mixtape Breakout Satirist July 2016. Calix released his 2nd album The Lesser of Your Greater Friends in August 2017, and his third album IKUGAN May of 2018. Calix has also produced and written songs for KOLATERAL — An album based on research about the bloody Philippine war on drugs. To call Calix a goliath in music would not be an overstatement, with a long list of records under his belt, his work has been nothing but sheer power and energy. As a rapper and a producer Calix excels in bringing his intense emotions into the fray, be it rage and despair or even the eventual playfulness of his lyricism, his vision in music is not hinted nor implied but rather imposed, as if for every song he feels that if this is his last, may it come out not with a whimper but with a bang, raging against the dying of the light.
