Pedro “Tonha” Moutou, an independent artist, rapper, singer, composer, and songwriter, was born on November 15, 1995, in Angola. His journey into music began in 2012 after watching the biographical film "Notorious BIG" and freestyling during recess with his best friend. Tonha fell deeply in love with various genres, including Hip-Hop, Trap, Jazz, R&B, and Afro House. He initially wrote songs in French but later switched to English, finding it more comfortable. Growing up in France (78), his music reflects a blend of cultures and languages, influenced by artists like Biggie Smalls and La Fouine. Tonha's unique style includes seamlessly switching between French, English, and Portuguese within the same track, which has become his signature. In 2016, he participated in the annual Hip-Hop competition event Coast2Coast in Paris, where he won first place. This achievement marked a turning point, leading him to take his music career more seriously. Since then, Tonha has released several projects in French, Portuguese and English.
