What do you want to do when you grow up? "I want to move people" KOLI is a Detroit/Nashville based musician and songwriter. Her love of music began at a young age when her father would play “Limelight” by Rush on the ride to school or her mother danced to “Sweet Emotion” by Aerosmith in the living room. Rock music has been etched into her bones from the age of three.  She wrote and sang through high school, falling in love with the process and her piano. This love and promise to pursue a career in music took her to Nashville, TN at 18 to attend Belmont University. It was not until a brief hiatus in Minneapolis that she began to record. Her professional career began with writing and singing hooks for a multitude of Hop Hop and Electronic artists, which is still a passion of hers.  Upon her return to Nashville in 2017, she began to develop her eclectic sound. Her music incorporates elements of jazz, rock, pop and hip hop all driven by her voice and a piano.
