Born and raised in Tottenham north London,England, phillip wilson aka flipson was born to Jamaican parents, during his teens he made local mix tapes with Sway in year 2000, he formed a group called Darkside with childhood friends in 2003 then recorded songs with Wretch 32 sound engineer, he then released his first single please don't fall and a few street videos onto youtube then he released his first album titled trapped inside a psycho's in 2006, his second album da cell in 2008 with Stella as the main single then his album third album blood thirsty for retribution in 2010 with hey girl as the main single, his fourth album titled war of the roses in 2014 with fly high as the main single,his fifth album trapped inside s psychos body 2 in 2019 with the main single dial a date, in 2020 he released tha passion off flipson with a few videos then formed a label with Mr.Truth called Darkside entertainment in 2021 he released his next album called tha passion off flipson followed by tha passion off flipson 2 in 2022 and Da Cell 2 in 2023
