QTheMarker is an up-and-coming alternative hip-hop artist who was raised in Brixton, South London. He was introduced to producing music by his older brother, who was a big fan of old-school hip-hop. QTheMarker continued to hone his skills as a producer and beat maker from 2009 onwards. In 2017, the loss of his mother led to a heavy depression to which he used music as a way to cope, occasionally writing rhymes as a form of therapy. It was the music of XXXTentacion that inspired QTheMarker to step into the spotlight as a rap artist in 2018. Taking inspiration from R&B, soul, old-school and modern hip-hop, QTheMarker creates a unique and captivating sound. He is an all-around artist who writes, performs, and produces his own music from his bedroom studio, showcasing his musical talent and versatility.
