Spauls Music, founded by singer and musician Leo Spauls, made waves in 2023 by releasing several previously unreleased albums. Among these were Leo Spauls's two captivating live albums, Kreuzberg (Live at Monarch, Berlin, 2018) and Camden (Live in London, 2020), along with his debut album from 1997, Creation Of Heavens. In addition to these releases, the year saw the emergence of the Spauls Brothers project, a collaboration between Leo and his brother. Their partnership with singer Fredrik Olofsson yielded a series of demos and studio recordings, notably including the famous track Tired Of Waiting - Demo. Furthermore, the Spauls Brothers EP 2001 I Was Young showcased the talents of Rikard Spauls, featuring three compelling tracks highlighted by the energetic All That You Got, which gained traction as a minor hit on Swedish radio. Leo Spauls's musical repertoire spans the Chamber Psych Mix genre, drawing inspiration from artists such as Perfume Genius, John Grant, Teleman, and Tim Burgess. Notably, Leo Spauls collaborated with renowned pianist Mike Garson, known for his work with David Bowie, on the album Heaven's Deep Blue Sky. Adding to this impressive roster, Spauls Music is excited to present its latest project, Mesaque e Leo Gringo, a unique fusion of Swedish and Brazilian musical influences, notably in Fevereiro.
