Selorm began making music at the age of 15 on the roof of her childhood home where she learned to play guitar and started writing songs. She was heavily influenced by her Ghanaian parent’s culture and the growing Indie scene in her town of Somerset, New Jersey. She moved to Los Angeles to be part of the music scene and started posting singing videos online. Over the years she has gained a following of over 45,000 fans who watch videos of her singing and playing originals. She’s received nods from artists like Alesia Cara and Magic! Selorm is releasing her debut EP titled “Forward” which she wrote and produced herself. She thinks it’s pretty freaking dope.
