Sam Macdonald is an emerging pop producer from Cambridge, UK. His use of warm synthesis, catchy melodies and popping ear candy creates deep and enticing aesthetic. Sam honed his skills studying Music Production at Leeds Conservatoire, where he crafted his signature sound that blends a relaxed, chill-out pop vibe with the funk and groove of nu-disco. The 'After Dark' EP is a collection of 6 songs that experiment the mixture of commercial pop music with tropical and funk elements. It combines conventional pop instrumentation with 80s synthesis and as well as live and organic sounds to create warm and powerful mixes. The meticulous detail of all six songs is what ties the EP together and forms part of Sam’s signature sound. The overall experience of the work is grounded and honest while providing an energising boost that is hard to resist. 
 In addition to Sam’s artistic endeavours he has kickstarted his mixing and mastering services too which has attracted both local and global creatives.
