Antônio Augusto Farias a.k.a. Pfink is an independent musician, producer, performer and filmmaker. He is best known for his previous project with Brazilian viral sensation Marli, whose otherworldly music video 'Cachaça', produced and directed by Pfink, reached 3 million views on YouTube. Now performing his own material since 2017 (the Marli project, now withdrawn from the internet, ended in 2016), Pfink writes, records and produces everything by himself, and his work is characterized by unusual and dark subject matter, featuring lyrics that can be, at once, puzzling and ludicrous, abstract and awkward, often absurdist and sometimes poetic. Pfink loves films and frequently draws inspiration from his favorite movies and directors in his visuals, but he also goes for a playful, rough and intentionally questionable aesthetic. Pfink's music is difficult to categorize, ranging from industrial beats and weird jazz experimentations to house music and dance-pop bangers. Pfink has also written and directed two horror short films, 'Trash' (2016) and 'Nefarious Deed' (2018), both available on YouTube.
