COOLSTAR is the band featured in the novel, FATAL EQUATION. The book, a romantic thriller is available from Amazon as an eBook download and paperback. The album, FATAL EQUATION, by COOLSTAR and guests, is also available to stream and purchase from the usual outlets. In reality, COOLSTAR was formed to feature the work of songwriter/producer Gethyn Jones – working alongside producer/songwriter and sound engineer, Nicholas Bowen. 
 The pool of COOLSTAR musicians is an interesting one for long-standing music fans. Led by Gethyn Jones and Nick Bowen, they include Mike Hugg – still touring and playing the Manfred Mann hits. Ian Duck, harmonica, formerly a member of Hookfoot (Elton John's original backing band) – and he played harmonica on Groovin' with Mr Bloe which got to no. 2 in the UK charts. Graham Preskett, strings, a top UK arranger who's written and produced more commercials than he can remember. He plays on and co-arranged the classic Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty – and occasionally works with Hans Zimmer live and on films.
