Onetta, Cincinnati based purveyors of jangle pop began in 2018 when Sam Wulfekotter and Eric Shokler met as classmates at Blue Ash College. The duo booked their first show in 2019 and enlisted Connor Fennessey as rhythm guitarist and Charles Apke on bass. The band released their first single later that year before the departure of bassist Charles Apke. Apke was replaced by drummer Luke Svenson in 2020. Luke Svenson departed in 2021 and drummer Brody Forrester has taken the helms. 2022 saw the release of the groups first EP In The Valley Of. Produced by Wulfekotter and Shokler from 2019 to 2020 and mixed by the later the EP finally saw a release on November 26th 2022. A DIY cassette release was coordinated by the band and available on their Bandcamp.
