Oritseweyinmi Tuoyo, known as Weyinmi, is a Nigerian Afro Fusion singer, rapper and songwriter from Delta State. He mainly makes music for lovers and aspiring lovers, painting portraits of love yearned for, love gained and love lost. Initially a rapper and mostly making music for fun, rapping gave him an outlet to refine his songwriting skills which combined with his smooth melodies make for a unique sonic experience. He decided to take music more seriously in 2021 as it became increasingly clear he had a knack for it. His next release Day and Night is a continuation of his favorite theme. It explores love on the Days where it’s easy and the Nights where you have to fight for it.
