Born in Sicily, Carlo Barbagallo is a electroacoustic composer, song-writer, sound engineer and producer. He recorded his sounds since his early childhood, always experimenting the boundaries of music genres and creative sound recording medias. Noja Recordings is his label moniker through spread his music wide. He is a founder member of cult sicilian indie band Suzanne'Silver, L.B.B. (improvised music based trio with experimentalist and instrument builder Jean-Francois Laporte alongisde free jazz drummer Emilio Berné, Lex Dix-Huit Secondes, CoMET (Collettivo Musica Elettroacustica Torino), E<->CB & others. As a guitarist he was a member of Albanopower (with Colapesce), La Moncada and strong collaborator of composer Andrea Valle in his improvised pieces works series. He produced albums by @Dead Cat In A Bag, @Daydream Three, Sacramento, Monsieur Voltaire, Loners, Carmelo Amenta, Andrea Romano Il Fratello, Andrea Fardella, Calavera, ELAINE and engineered many others. Since 2012 Carlo Barbagallo is particularly involved in electroacoustic music and his compositions was premiered worldwide (es. Venice Biennale, CNMAT Berkeley).
