Langston Jeremiah Gardner is a 19 year old cultural influencer and musical artist that wears the persona of “Lank G” - The Golden Child from D Town. Lank G is known for his ability to implement societal ordeals into a radio derived and sometimes melodic sound that is Hip hop music while also being able to serenade the ears of his fans with his experimental and sometimes “toxic” take on RnB music. Lank G’s origin story began in the city of Dallas Texas where he grew up. Music has surrounded Gardner since his early child hood days singing gospel melodies around the DFW metroplex. Early on, Gardner learned how to implement his soul, spirit, and passion into performance, discovering his gift while covering spiritual anthems. This opened up a new world of opportunity for Gardner, leading him down a long road of performance that would eventually turn Gardner into a Hip hop & Rnb artist. Early in that journey, Gardner’s father (Tre Gardner) educated his young son with the classical Hip hop acts of Tupac Shakur, Andre 3000, UGK and other OG’s of the famed genre. His father also graced him with knowledge of godly vocalist of his own generation, early on Gardner fell in love with the work’s of singers like Erykah Badu and D’angelo and many more. With the help of his legendary predecessors, Gardner hopes to be a Musial “Pioneer of the future” and he aspires to hold a spot on his generation’s “Mt. Rushmore” in both the genres he proudly resides in.
