Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Leniv Skye is an artist traveling on the road of becoming an all time great. If it's not his slick wordplay, it's his gut hitting punchlines, if it's not his melodic blues, it's his heart wrenching storytelling and if it's not his double entendres, it's his triple entendres. Leniv Skye's flow is extremely eclectic and tends to bend and weave to any BPM of a song. Releasing his third Ep, Hell Invites You to Her Funeral in 2019 marking a stark contrast to his earlier sound as Leniv found his true home sound with the EP. He then went on to release singles in 2020 such as the beloved, Crossroads. Leniv Skye dropped his full debut LP, Ascension III: The Transfiguration in 2021, arguably one of the strongest debuts any up and coming artist can offer, from the sizzling Woman, and instant classic and timeless All Things & Amethyst, to the dark cinematic-like story of Ann's Dilemma and the powerful, virtuosic album closer in The Closing. He then went on to release the deluxe album, Transfiguration later that year, which saw Leniv expanding on his already large musical palette with crowd bangers like City Boys Anthem and Summer Nightz to the thunderous and waist shaking Elengi.
