Smokey Sanchez is an independent artist from Los Angeles, California. 
 Growing up in the nearby city of Palmdale, Smokey learned to make music in his room where he first started producing at the age of 15. From lofi to boom bap, Smokey Sanchez spreads across various genres including alternative rock, indie, and hip hop influenced sounds. His music is made to express his inner thoughts and experiences with the world to hopefully help people relate and feel better in tough situations through the music. Smokey Sanchez finds inspiration in all around him. In his early years, he found inspiration through rock bands such as Nirvana, Deftones, & The Killers. Growing up, Smokey branched out into the hip hop scene and discovered artists such as Childish Gambino, Mac Miller, & Lil Peep who helped shape his sound and creativity. Currently, Smokey finds more inspiration in the psychedelic and subtly alternative sounds of Beach House, Smashing Pumpkins, & Gus Dapperton.
