LUNIQ was born in Stockholm, Sweden and grew up in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, where his affinity for Hip Hop began. After 10+ years of creating music on and off, LUNIQ would go on to release what he considers his official Hip Hop debut - “Metropolitan Rush", in late 2019. The album defines LUNIQ’s balancing act of maintaining a full-time career outside of music, while continuing to chase his Hip Hop dreams. Being Iranian American with Swedish roots, has influenced LUNIQ to experience life through multiple lenses, making this a constant theme heard throughout his music. LUNIQ has continued his journey of pursuing his music without any plans of slowing down. He’s spent the last few years polishing his sound and building his brand. He draws inspiration from the constantly evolving sounds that can be heard in rap today.
